POSITION OVERVIEW
The Payroll Associate is responsible for supporting various HR functions and ensuring smooth operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about human resources and eager to contribute to the success of the organization. This role requires a blend of HR expertise and a solid understanding of financial operations
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Recruitment Support
- Assist in coordinating recruitment activities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition department to facilitate the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating training activities.
- Handle administrative tasks related to employee separations, including exit interviews and offboarding procedures.
Employee Records Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Benefits Administration
- Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to enroll new employees, process changes, and resolve issues.
HR Policies and Compliance
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in labor legislation and update internal policies accordingly.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues through investigation, mediation, and
conflict resolution techniques
- Preparing financial reports related to HR expenses.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Perform other official work as instructed by the immediate supervisor/manager.
- Extend work hours when needed.
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any equivalent degree.
- Above average English verbal and written communication skills.
- Had experiences or internship under the HR department.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- With 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role or capacity is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in labor law, compensation, employee relations
- Knowledge and experience in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Basic knowledge on government statutory benefits and processes
- Excellent team player.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
- Organized, responsible, and keen into details.
- Able to work with and meet deadlines.
- Speed and flexibility in responding to the needs of the business and needs of employees.
- Highly organized and reliable.
- Well - versed with different Microsoft Office Tools and Google Suite applications.
- Hard working and dynamic.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
- Has initiative.
