POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Associate in Vietnam will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives, providing employee support, managing office administration, and overseeing the internship program. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth execution of HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Employee Engagement

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys and feedback channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement initiatives that promote a positive work culture.
  • Track and report employee participation and satisfaction rates for engagement activities.

Employee Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide guidance to employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases as needed.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process by facilitating documentation and communication.

Office Administration

  • Manage office supplies and inventory to ensure a well-maintained work environment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for office maintenance and support.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and document management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workplace.
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for employees coming in and flying out of Vietnam.

Academe Linkages

  • Assist in overseeing the end-to-end management of the internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation.
  • Act as a point of contact for interns, addressing any concerns and providing guidance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities and academic institutions to source interns.
  • Monitor intern performance and provide feedback to support their professional development.

Additional Duties

  • Accomplishes other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager
  • Other HR facets such as recruitment, timekeeping, compensation & benefits, and payroll will also be assigned on a need basis.

WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any equivalent degree.
  • Registered Psychometrician, CHRA, CHRP, SHRP-CSP certifications.
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role or capacity.
  • Human resources experience, employee relations exposure.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills 
  • Highly organized and reliable.
