POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing various financial documents, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, and providing valuable insights to support our client’s decision-making processes. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improving current accounting practices
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Manage all accounting transactions such as, but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accounts payable and receivable, basic job cost, account analysis and reconciliation, year-end audit.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns and documentation.
- Manage inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of inventory.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Collaborate with both external and internal personnel to execute functions, and liaise with banks for payroll account openings, updates, and transactions.
- Process and manage payroll.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in financial processes, then design and execute improvements.
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or any equivalent degree.
- CPA license is a plus
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in accounting software or tools like SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
