WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Operational Leadership
- Manage and lead all aspects of Payreto’s operations in Vietnam. Payreto’s operation in Vietnam is an extension of the Global Operations Headquarters, where best practices have already been developed.
- Ensure continuous improvement in service delivery, quality, and client satisfaction across all supported ventures.
- Ensure operational resiliency and stability.
- Maintain oversight of location budgets, expenditures, and cost forecasting in close coordination with the Finance Department in Makati.
- Strategically oversee infrastructure needs and procurement of necessary technologies and vendor services.
- Hire, develop, and retain high-performing talent appropriate to each venture’s needs.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching, and quarterly objective reviews.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture that encourages learning, pride, and belonging.
- Actively resolve internal conflicts with empathy and fairness, promoting team harmony.
- Suggest creative hiring processes to find the best talent for Payreto in Vietnam.
- Provide valuable insights into the Vietnamese workforce.
- Develop Vietnam operations members to be future leaders within Payreto.
- Stakeholder Management and Engagement (Internal and External)
- Find win-win solutions in handling internal/external client complaints and escalations in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement necessary adjustments in the behavior and performance of Vietnam operations.
- Maintain a good to high NPS (net promoter score) from all the clients supported by Vietnam Operations.
- Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to better understand current and future needs that may generate additional revenue for Payreto.
- Implement and support Payreto’s non-compete strategy with financial service providers.
- Develop and optimize systems, routines, and workflows aligned with strategic goals.
- Ensure that the Vietnam location contributes to the overall business profitability and scalability.
- Contribute to the OKR (Objective Key Results) of Payreto.
- Be the go-to local expert on Payreto’s services, tools, client workflows, and market needs.
- Assist ventures with client documentation, process improvement, market research, and identifying industry best practices.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation in task execution to ensure accurate, high-quality outcomes.
Professional Background
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in back-office operations within or supporting financial institutions or financial service providers.
- Proven track record of leading multiple operational teams in complex, detail-oriented environments.
- Experience in an AML Compliance role, either as an individual contributor or in a leadership role, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Software Development, or Data Science – fields requiring structured, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong in English Communication, both written and spoken. International work or study experience is a strong plus.
- High in Cognitive/Comprehension Skills - must be able to understand complex concepts.
- Flexible and globally minded; able to adapt to international standards and work with global clients.
- Strong desire to lead with transparency and collaboration in an agile, high-performance culture.
